The work I actually believe in.

I founded Trimbath Energy Consultants to give businesses the same leverage on utility costs that large corporations take for granted. Seventeen years and 50,000+ clients later, I still think that work matters — and I'm just getting started on what comes next.

I'm an AI practitioner in the practical sense: I build things, I ship things, and I write about what actually works in the field. Right now that means developing the Sentinel Energy Monitor — AI-powered energy intelligence for commercial facilities — and deepening my own AI/ML practice so I can bring real tools to real businesses in this region.

I live and work in southwestern Pennsylvania. I trail volunteer here. I advocate here. I'm not building something to extract value from this place — I'm trying to add it.

What I'm thinking about.

Outside the work.

I'm a volunteer with the Yough River Trail Council, helping maintain the Great Allegheny Passage and Sheepskin Trail — some of the finest trail miles in the eastern United States, and an underappreciated economic artery for this region. You can follow my rides and hikes on Strava.

This site also carries a tribute to my son Turner Trimbath — a page I built with care and intend to keep.

I hold an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State Fayette and dual Bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. I'm a follower of Christ who takes Stoic philosophy seriously — meaning I try to distinguish what is in my control from what is not, and pour my energy into the former.
